Celebrate the Presidential Inauguration at the Aquarium!

2009 InaugurationBaltimore, MD  (January 20, 2009)-The National Aquarium joined the community in celebrating the historic inauguration of our nations 44th President Barack Obama. 

On Saturday, January 17 President-Elect Obama’s speech from Baltimore’s City Hall was broadcasted live on a jumbo screen in the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Waterfront Park in front of the National Aquarium.

Visitors to the National Aquarium also had the chance to watch a live broadcast of President-Elect Barack Obama’s inauguration in the 4-D Immersion Theater on Tuesday, January 20 . Nearly 225 seats were filled as staff and visitors escaped the cold and celebrated this historic day at the Aquarium!
