Families are invited to meet the newest residents of the Aquarium while exploring over 250 aquatic species around the country. The Aquarium’s intimate experience and exhibit design brings children face-to-face with baby alligators, sea turtles, stingrays and more.

The National Aquarium is encouraging students throughout the area to keep up their studies during the last six weeks of the school year as the organization announced Thursday, June 25, 2009 as the date of their annual Grade A Student Night. The event celebrates students who have achieved three or more grades equal to or above 90% in any one marking period and are enrolled in K-12 in Baltimore City or County and offers those students free admission from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The National Aquarium is proud to announce that in a recent survey of hands raised, not only do children love presents, but they also love marine animals! The National Aquarium is offering Immersion Tours, Aquadopts, and Memberships to enhance fun and learning this holiday season.
The National Aquarium in Baltimore will celebrate Beyond the Boardwalk, a series of events celebrating ocean life, and sharing ways to protect and restore our local waterways for thousands of animals that call them home. Annually taking place in June, Beyond the Boardwalk features a variety of exciting and interactive programs, games and stories on ways adults and children can be responsible and get involved.
