National Aquarium Turns Purple for Ravens
Baltimore (January 12, 2009)- The National Aquarium joins the rest of Baltimore in donning purple this week to
celebrate the Baltimore Ravens’ journey through the playoffs! Last night, during a covert effort to paint the town purple, the Ravens’ front office staff left the Aquarium a special logo stamp on the sidewalk near the ticket center. To continue the city-wide show of support, the Aquarium will light all of Pier 3 in purple on Thursday.
In support of Purple Friday, the National Aquarium, Baltimore is offering a special $5 discount on Friday, January 15. The promotion is available through advance online ticket purchases only. Beginning today, fans can visit aqua.org and enter the code RAVENS to receive $5 off the total experience ticket package on Friday, January 15 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Visitors are encouraged to join Aquarium staff in wearing their purple Ravens gear on Purple Friday, January 15, and for the rest of the weekend.
