Fridays after Five Returns to Aquarium

The National Aquarium’s popular community discount program, Fridays After Five, returns on Friday, September 11. Every Friday evening through March guests entering the Aquarium between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. (exploring until 9:30 p.m.) will enjoy a low admission price of $8.

Aquarium’s Public Enrichment Day

The public is invited to share in the celebration of Bayley’s first birthday during the Aquarium’s first ever public enrichment building day on August 8th, which happens to also be the Aquarium’s 28th birthday.

Aquarium Celebrates a Dolphin’s 1st birthday!

The National Aquarium is celebrating a dolphin birthday! Bayley, an Atlantic bottlenose dolphin born at the Aquarium on July 27, 2008, is one year old today. The public is invited to share in her birthday celebration during the Aquarium’s first ever public enrichment building day on Saturday, August 8.

Hamilton the Seal Returns to Sea!

National Aquarium staff were joined by volunteers on land and the United States Coast Guard by sea at the Delaware Seashore State Park to release a male harbor seal rehabilitated by the Aquarium’s Marine Animal Rescue Program (MARP).

Aquarium to Host Annual Maryland Dolphin Count

The National Aquarium will lead Maryland’s annual dolphin count on Friday, July 17th in an effort to determine the state’s dolphin population. Volunteers are welcome to participate from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
