The Polar Express returns to the 4-D Immersion Theater!
Baltimore, MD (November 4, 2008)-
Winter is quickly approaching and so is the return of a holiday classic to the National Aquarium! Beginning November 15, 2008 visitors are invited to embark on a cold winter’s journey that’s sure to warm your heart, and to make you believe. The Polar Express™ 4-D Experience transforms the holiday movie into a 20-minute, action-packed movie experience that will keep young viewers on their edge of their seats through special effects that are exclusive to the 4-D theater experience!
The Polar Express™ is the story of a young boy on a whimsical journey to the North Pole. Although he is doubtful, the voyage teaches him to believe in the wonders of life even when he runs out of faith. Picture the on-screen serenity of a snow-covered neighborhood as an icy cool blast of air brings the scene to life. Then, the excitement builds as viewers are taken on a rumbling train ride and a dancing parade of chefs present seat-side service and almost magically, the savory aroma of warm hot chocolate fills your senses. That’s the thrill of 4-D!
This special holiday celebration is presented by AXA Advisors. The Immersion Theater will have shows running daily from November 15- January 4. Tickets to the theater are an extra $4 to the Aquarium’s admission price and can be purchased in advance. Visit aqua.org for details and ticket packages.
When: November 15th- January 4th.
