Fridays after five return to the National Aquarium
Baltimore, MD (September 4, 2008) — The National Aquarium in Baltimore’s community discount program, Fridays After Five, begins September 5. Every Friday evening through March, guests entering the Aquarium between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. (exploring until 10 p.m.) will enjoy a low admission price of $8.
This fall the Aquarium will also introduce a cultural series as a part of the Fridays After Five program that will explore and celebrate international traditions in art, music, literature, dance, and cuisine. Starting in October, the first Fridays After Five of every month will feature special activities and performances honoring:
October : Latino Heritage
November : Native American Heritage
December : World Holidays
January : Asian- Pacific Heritage
February : Black History
March : Women’s History
The Aquarium is pleased to offer this chance for the local community to enjoy the Aquarium’s 16,500 animals at a greatly-reduced price. Fridays After Five is presented by FOX 45 and CW Baltimore.
